Kate Ferdinand has spoken about the 'hurdles' she and her husband Rio have faced as she marked the bikini-clad moment they met ahead of starting another new year together.
The pair met eight years ago through mutual friends. Their first meeting came while holidaying in Dubai back in 2016 and now Kate has marked eight years since she and former Manchester United star Rio first spent time together before entering into a romance.
Several months later, Kate and Rio are said to have returned to the UAE for a romantic couples holiday but kept their romance underwraps and it wasn't until April of 2017 when Kate went public with their relationship, revealing she was quitting The Only Way is Essex as her "priority right now is Rio and the family." The pair later married in 2019 and have gone on a journey of bleding their family, with Rio sharing three children - Lorenz, Tate and Tia - with his late wife Rebecca Ellison, before he and Kate welcomed two children together - Cree and Shae.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday (December 31), Kate shared a photo of herself and Rio after they ditched the UK to ring in 2025 on the sandy beaches of Dubai.
