Kate Bush has reacted to the news that she is (finally) going to be inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame, and hinted that she could make her first public appearance in over a decade at the ceremony.
The Class of 2023 inductees were announced yesterday (May 3) and included fellow icons such as fellow British pop scion George Michael, American rock band Rage Against The Machine and soul superstar Chaka Khan.
Missy Eillott, the genre-bending American rapper and producer, will also become the first-ever female rapper inducted into the Hall of Fame in a landmark moment.
Bush had previously been nominated for induction three previous times; in 2018, 2021 and 2022. In a statement given to Rolling Stone reacting to her induction, Bush said: "I have to admit I’m completely shocked at the news of being inducted into the Hall of Fame! "It’s something I just never thought would happen.
