Princess Kate has barely been seen since undergoing major abdominal surgery - but she could be about to open up. According to the Sunday Times, Kate and William are intending to ‘release a new family photo to mark Prince Louis' birthday next month', say close friends - potentially an occasion to put the whole controversy behind them.
There have been few sightings of Princess Kate since her January 17 surgery, which led to a whole host of theories about her unknown health condition.
Kate then made a statement in which she took the blame in response to the backlash after a family photograph was released on Mother's Day be Kensington Palace which, amidst concerns the 'source has manipulated the image', was pulled by some of the top global picture agencies.
It has not been an easy time for the royals in recent weeks - but Kate and William in particular could be about to put recent events behind them, by publishing a new snap of Prince Louis on April 23 - they have always traditionally upheld the tradition of publishing a photo of each of their children on their respective birthdays.
