Scottish actress Karen Gillan revealed she is pregnant with her first child and debuted her blossoming baby bump at The Life of Chuck Premiere in Canada on Friday night.The former Doctor Who star is expecting her first baby with husband, writer and comedian Nick Kocher, who she married in May 2022 at Castle Toward in Argyll.The actress made her glamorous red carpet appearance at the Toronto Film Festival cradling a growing baby bump in a statement yellow dress.The star, best known for her roles in Doctor Who and the Marvel franchise, seemingly took the opportunity to announce her pregnancy while attending the star-studded Toronto Film Festival.

Karen showed up to The Life of Chuck premiere party looking as glamorous as ever and rubbed shoulders with celebs including Doctor Strange star Chiwetel Ejiofor and actor Tom Hiddleston.The star wore a fitted yellow mini dress with an off-the-shoulder cape, in order to accentuate her bump.

Karen previously revealed she first connected with her husband Nick by sending him a DM. She recalled: "I was so single and not meeting anyone. "I did not get on with the American dating scene.Then he was presented as a recommended friend.

I looked him up on YouTube and he was funny, so eventually I just slid into his DMs. I’ve never done that before in my life.” She revealed that while her opening message was "the most boring thing ever", she felt the 'Saturday Night Live' writer had tried too hard with his response.
