Kanye West’s Malibu Mansion on Market Six Months After It Sold (EXCLUSIVE)
variety.comTatiana Siegel Kanye West‘s Malibu home is up for sale again. The controversial rapper’s 4,700-square-foot beachfront house is selling just six months after it sold for $21 million.
West did extensive renovations on the property, which includes ocean views from every room. Realtor power couple Amanda Lynn and Dylan Eckardt of “Selling Sunset” and “Selling the Hamptons” fame, respectively, are putting the property on the market for $30 million.
Eckardt has represented West on a number of real estate transactions and handled the purchase of the property last year. “This is one of the bigger listings for me and Amanda together,” he says. “I’m gonna sell it this time to a great collector who wants to finish a masterpiece.” The structure is one of the few private homes in the United States designed by the renowned Pritzker Prize-winning Japanese architect Tadao Ando, known for his minimalist structures and use of reinforced concrete.
The house is constructed of 1,200 tons of concrete, 200 tons of steel and 12 massive pylons driven into the sand. Neighbors include Jay-Z and Beyoncé, Betsy Johnson, Pierce Brosnan, Reese Witherspoon, Miley Cyrus, Leonardo DiCaprio, Julia Roberts and Emma Stone.
