Kanye West has been locked out of his Twitter and Instagram accounts because of anti-Semitic posts by the rapper, now known legally as Ye. Spokespersons for Meta, the parent company of Twitter and Instagram, said on Sunday that Ye had posted messages that violated their policies. In a tweet on Saturday, Ye said he would soon go "death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE", according to internet archive records.

In one of those texts, West wrote to Diddy: “I’ma use you as an example to show the Jewish people that told you to call me that no one can threaten or influence me.” Shortly after that, his Instagram account was restricted by Meta and posts were removed.“We’re in this weird era where people can’t just say what they want to say,” said Campos-Duffy, who had seen the post.
