Kalvin Phillips has not yet decided on his Manchester City future but a January transfer is increasingly likely the longer he is starved of game time, reports claim.
Phillips has played just 70 Premier League minutes for his club this season and failed to impress Pep Guardiola when an opportunity for more starts opened up amid Rodri's three-game domestic suspension.
The midfielder started the League Cup defeat to Newcastle United but failed to get the nod against Wolves and Arsenal in the Premier League.
In fact, he was not used at all in the 1-0 defeat to the Gunners at the Emirates ahead of the international break.
