Steven Gerrard

Steven George Gerrard MBE (born 30 May 1980) is an English professional football manager and former player who manages Scottish Premiership club Rangers.

He spent the majority of his playing career as a central midfielder for Liverpool, with most of that time spent as club captain, as well as captaining the England national team. Widely regarded as one of the greatest midfielders of all time,

Gerrard was awarded the UEFA Club Footballer of the Year award in 2005, and the Ballon d'Or Bronze Award. In 2009, Zinedine Zidane and Pelé said that they considered Gerrard to be the best footballer in the world.

Kai Kennedy is set to secure a temporary exit from the club by joining Inverness Caledonian Thistle on loan until January. And it means the Ibrox side are likely to lose the talented teen for nothing more than a development fee next summer.

Kennedy has been courted by some of European football's top clubs but many are willing to wait until next summer to get him at the end of his Rangers contract.

It's highly unlikely the teen will sign a new deal at the Glasgow giants after a disagreement with Steven Gerrard over his potential playing time.

Now he'll spend the next six months in Inverness with John Robertson's Championship outfit as he looks to secure first team football ahead of a potential move elsewhere next year.
