Justin Trudeau has paid tribute to Friends star Matthew Perry after his tragic death on Saturday, 28 October, aged 54. Matthew was found unresponsive in a jacuzzi at his house in Los Angeles after police were called to reports of a cardiac arrest.
Remembering his friend, the Canadian prime minister, 51, wrote on Twitter: "Matthew Perry's passing is shocking and saddening.
I'll never forget the schoolyard games we used to play, and I know people around the world are never going to forget the joy he brought them. "Thanks for all the laughs, Matthew.
You were loved – and you will be missed." Matthew previously spoke about Justin in an appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel show in 2017, revealing that he and another of his pals had beaten him up during their time at elementary school together.
