This perennial meme has gotten a coronavirus twist. *NSYNC’s 2000 hit single “It’s Gonna Be Me” reliably goes viral every May 1, when photos of the former boy band are shared with the easily misheard chorus: “It’s Gonna Be May.” But this year is different.

On April 30, Justin Timberlake offered up a version of the internet joke which is hopefully only relevant for May 2020 — an “It’s Gonna Be May” meme of his face where he’s wearing a face mask. “Spring Summer 2020.
