Justin Bieber and The Kid LAROI are opening the show! The superstars performed “Stay” and “Ghost” while opening the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night (September 12) at the Barclays Center in New York City. They performed their hit “Stay,” with Justin later launching into “Ghost” off of his recent album, Justice. Justin also has several nominations this evening, including “POPSTAR” for Video of the Year and Artist of the Year. Doja Cat is this year’s host and she is among the many performers set to hit the stage during the show!
