Justin Bieber shares Ramsay Hunt syndrome diagnosis and shows facial paralysis in video

Pop sensation Justin Bieber has revealed he is currently suffering from facial paralysis after contracting Ramsay Hunt syndrome, a rare side effect of shingles.

The 28 year old star contracted shingles earlier this month, causing the music superstar to cancel several of his upcoming tour dates on his Justice World Tour.

Sharing the news of his diagnosis on Instagram, Justin shared a three minute video in which he explained how he had suffered the rare complication after contracting shingles, which is caused by the same virus that causes chickenpox.

In the short video, the star is seen visibly unable to blink as he shares his experience with fans and updates them on why he has had to cancel his highly anticipated appearances.
