Ronaldo, 37, hopes to leave the club this summer. At the time he submitted his exit request, he had been unhappy at the slow transfer activity from United.
Since then, United have landed Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez - who all checked into training on Tuesday morning.
Ronaldo was not on United’s pre-season tour of Thailand and Australia due to family reasons.
