Jussie Smollett Poses for Mugshot Ahead of 150-Day Prison Sentence

Click inside to read more… Jussie was convicted of faking a racial and homophobic attack in Chicago, Ill., and was sentenced on Thursday (March 10) to 150 days in jail, as well as 30 months of felony probation, restitution to the city of Chicago and a fine of $25,000.
After the judge revealed the full sentencing, Jussie spoke out. Before being taken away to jail, Jussie told the judge, “I would just like to say, your honor, I am not suicidal.” He repeated that sentiment two more times. “I am innocent and I am not suicidal,” Jussie continued. “If I did this then it means I stuck my fist in fears of the Black Americans in this country for over 400 years and the fears of the LGBT community.
Your honor, I respect you and I respect the jury, but I did not do this and I am not suicidal. And if anything happens to me when I go in there, I did not do it to myself.
