Apart from the real juror, all other jury duty members, judges, lawyers and more are actors who have put together a fake case, resulting in hilarious and awkward encounters.Season one of Jury Duty – which earned several Golden Globe and Emmy nominations – starred real, unsuspecting juror Ronald Gladden alongside alternate versions of James Marsden and more.Throughout the course of the show, Ronald (who believes he is taking part in an educational documentary about the legal system) puts up with the eccentric behaviour of his fellow jurors, including Marsden.
