Former Liverpool striker Emile Heskey expects Jurgen Klopp to "get his teeth stuck into" Timo Werner when the transfer window reopens.
The Reds have been linked with signing the Red Bull Leipzig forward this summer after months of speculation. Werner has a £52million release clause in his current contract and has admitted previously he is open to a move to Anfield.
Klopp is known to be a keen admirer of the 24-year-old, and Heskey believes it is a deal waiting to happen. "Timo Werner is a young player who has done phenomenally well," Heskey told GentingBet.
