Jurgen Klopp says Manchester United can expect "a big fight" from Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday. The Merseyside outfit beat Wolves 2-0 on Wednesday to go sixth in the Premier League table, six points off the top four.
They are 10 points behind third-placed United, who have only lost one league game since the beginning of November. Liverpool go into the contest undefeated in four Premier League games with a number of key names now back from injury but the last time they faced elite opposition, in the form of Real Madrid, they conceded five goals at home. He told Premier League Productions: "It's a big game anyway, against a team in form. We have to be ready and we will give them a big fight." Ten Hag earned his first win as United boss in August’s 2-1 win over Liverpool at Old Trafford.
United will be looking to banish the demons of last year’s 4-0 drubbing at Anfield having not won at the ground since January 2016.
