Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has admitted that his side will go up against the "best team in the world" when they travel to the Etihad Stadium to face Manchester City in their huge top-of-the-table clash on Sunday.
City currently sit at the top of the Premier League table, just a point ahead of Liverpool, meaning it promises to be a defining fixture in what is turning out to be a thrilling title race.
The Blues had a commanding lead at the summit in mid-January, but Liverpool have eaten into their advantage and are now just a solitary point behind them.
Liverpool, although only briefly, moved to the top of the table on Saturday following their 2-0 win over Watford in the lunchtime kick-off.
