Jurgen Klopp has suggested the international break has forced him into the changes he has made ahead of the Merseyside Derby against Everton.
The Reds have made four alterations from the team that was thumped 7-2 by Aston Villa last time out, with Sadio Mane, Thiago Alcantara, Jordan Henderson and Joel Matip coming in for Diogo Jota, Naby Keita, Georginio Wijnaldum and Joe Gomez.
Gomez was one of those who suffered a torrid time against Villa, and he was replaced after 60 minutes.
