Jurgen Klopp has revealed he received a text message from the Liverpool owners apologising for the state of the team when he took the reins.
Klopp was named Liverpool boss in 2015, and replaced Brendan Rodgers at the helm. Liverpool were in tenth place at the time, and Klopp has had to work hard with the group - and make some choice signings - to turn them into English and European Champions.
