Bridgerton is the only show that anyone can talk about right now and of course, the incredible Julie Andrews narrated the series.
Her participation was definitely a big catch for the series with the creators admitting they were over the moon that she agreed to do it.
And it looks like they were willing to fork out major money for her to voice the scandalous Lady Whistledown. According to The Mail On Sunday, she was paid a whooping €1.5million to lend her voice to the regency era period drama.
The series is based on a series of books by Julia Quinn, who said that when Julie agreed to play the omnipresent narrator that she ‘legitimately stopped breathing’.
