'Jujutsu Kaisen' Season 3? Anime TV Show Release Date Status Revealed

Jujutsu Kaisen is one of the most popular anime series in the world. The manga series from Gege Akutami, published in Weekly Shonen Jump, was adapted into a hit anime series from Studio MAPPA, spawning two seasons and a prequel movie, Jujutsu Kaisen 0.

The show was officially renewed for a third season following the end of Season 2, which aired from July to December of 2023.

Season 3 will adapt the manga’s Culling Games arc (chapters 159-221), via Games Radar. The gap between Seasons 1 and 2 was around two years, meaning we’d expect this third season to approximately take that much time as well, placing a potential release date in 2025 or 2026.

It is expected that Yuji (Junya Enoki) and Megumi (Yuma Uchida) will return alongside Gojo (Yuichi Nakamura). Takahiro Sakurai will likely reprise his role as Geto/Kenjaku, with expected returns as well from Yuta (Megumi Ogata) and Megumi’s step-brother Tsumiki (Saori Hayami).
