British actor Jude Law has been through a rollercoaster of emotions recently, as he received the news of his Hollywood Walk of Fame star just after the death of his beloved mother.The 51-year-old had to postpone the unveiling ceremony at the famous Los Angeles landmark due to his mum Maggie's passing.
Speaking to People, he shared: "It's been actually quite a long process because I found out and was originally going to have the service a couple of weeks back.
And actually, I lost my mum. So we had to delay it. But in a very odd way, as a kind of final gift, it meant that a few more of my family could actually be here.
So honestly, the whole event has been quite an emotional experience, and obviously just a very personal occasion and really touching." The 'Holiday' star, who is father to Rafferty, 28, Iris, 24, Rudy, 22, with former wife Sadie Frost, Sophia, 15, with Samantha Burke, Ada, 9, with Catherine Harding, and two young children with current spouse Phillipa Coan, expressed how his family provided immense support during this poignant time.
