Juan Mata says he still has a lot to offer Manchester United – despite being the oldest outfield member of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's squad.
Mata says United boss Solskjaer values his experience and wisdom in what has become one of the youngest squads in the Premier League.
Solskjaer has jettisoned older players like Alexis Sanchez, Antonio Valencia, Ashley Young, Marouane Fellaini and Ander Herrera in the past year, to bring down the age profile of United's squad.
Despite that, midfield playmaker Mata, 32, has remained at United and is under contract until 2021, with the option of a further year beyond that.
