Eden Hazard was the first name that came to mind for Juan Mata when he was asked who he thinks is the greatest ever Premier League player, and the Manchester United man has backed his former Chelsea teammate to eventually be a success at Real Madrid.
Mata and Hazard were only together for a season and a half at Stamford Bridge before the Spanish international joined United in January 2014, but that 18 months was enough to leave a mark on the 31-year-old. "The best Premier League player… I mean, I used to love to play with, and against, Eden Hazard," Mata told the Man Utd website. "For me, for many years, he was the best in the league.
