Josie Gibson was supported and encouraged by her This Morning co-stars as she was asked out on a date while live on air. The presenter's love life has been hitting the headlines after she was pictured over the weekend holding hands with Stephen Mulhern.

They both appeared on the last episode of Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway on Saturday night (April 13) and the pair sent the rumour mill into overdrive when they were spotted holding hands outside a television studio as they filmed a feature for the ITV show, which came to an end after 20 years on-air.

Asked about their relationship status, Josie told MailOnline: "I'm in love with Stephen Mulhern. There you go. But story of my life, I don't think he loves me." While presenters Cat Deeley and Ben Shepherd were in the studio, former Big Brother winner Josie hosted live from the Kennet and Avon Canal in Wiltshere where she was joined by three men from the Canal & River Trust.
