Rangers are set to consider offers for Josh McPake this summer. The winger is currently on-loan at Tranmere Rovers but is struggling to get game time with the English League Two side.It comes on the back of a frustrating spell at Morecambe earlier in the season that saw that loan terminated in January.
McPake has played just three minutes in the last six games under Micky Mellon and hasn’t kicked on the way he or Rangers would have hoped this season.
The 20-year-old still has two years left on his Ibrox contract but there doesn’t appear to be a pathway for him to push into Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s first-team squad.
Rangers are set to look at options again for McPake, whether that be a permanent move or another loan. The winger has had a number of loan spells including time at Dundee and Morton although his biggest success came at Harrogate Town, where he lifted the English Football League trophy.
