The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers has recruited Josh Duhamel for the upcoming second season.
THR reports that the 49-year-old actor will fill in the void left by Emilio Estevez, who departed the show ahead of the new season. Josh will play a new character in the Disney+ series named Gavin Cole, a former NHL player-turned-coach who is described as inspirational, charming and hardcore as he is big on the hockey metaphor that applies to life.
He runs the super-intense summer hockey institute where the Mighty Ducks land for season two. Josh will join Lauren Graham and Brady Noon on the show, which starts filming soon.
After his departure, Emilio opened up about the reasons he left. Josh recently shared some happy personal news with his fans.
