The first season of the series premiered in April 2022 and depicted Brolin as a Wyoming rancher by the name of Royal Abbott, who had to defend both his family and land from outside forces while looking into the disappearance of his daughter-in-law. “Outer Range” also stars Imogen Poots, Lili Taylor, Tom Pelphrey, Noah Reid and Will Patton.As of Monday, it is still unclear when the neo-Western will return for its sophomore season.
