Jose Mourinho's comment on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Manchester United sends PSG manager message

Paris Saint-German are reportedly considering appointing former Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho. PSG look set to sack Mauricio Pochettino and Mourinho is a frontrunner to succeed him at the Parc des Princes.

Mourinho won the inaugural Europa Conference League with Roma this season, but his side finished sixth in Serie A with 63 points.

Mourinho's managerial style has been questioned in recent years. Although 'the Special One' won two trophies at Old Trafford with his pragmatic style — and he remains the last manager to win silverware at United — his style of play and confrontational approach with players ultimately led to his dismissal at the club.

Mourinho had an underwhelming stint at Tottenham after United before joining Roma last summer. ALSO READ: Manchester United Player of the Year announced. It's understood that Mourinho is happy to stay at Roma, but the former United boss could be tempted by the PSG position, given the lure of trying to win the Champions League.
