Derek Ferguson has warned Rangers captain James Tavernier he must learn from Jordan Henderson and his Saudi Pro League misstep.
Tavernier and Connor Goldson are on Steven Gerrard's radar this summer as he looks to take the Ibrox stalwarts to Al-Ettifaq.
The cash-rich club have splashed out on bringing the likes of Gini Wijnaldum, Demarai Gray, Jack Hendry and Moussa Dembele to the Middle East since the arrival of the Liverpool legend - and a raid of the Scottish Premiership club could kick off another summer of spending.
But Ferguson reckons that the warning signs are already there for Tavernier and Goldson after England international Henderson's nightmare spell in Saudi having been drafted in from Anfield by Gerrard last summer.
