Jonny May can top Rory Underwood's record England try haul says Eddie Jones

Jonny May is on track to overhaul Rory Underwood and become England’s all-time record try scorer. So reckons Eddie Jones after seeing the Gloucester flyer grab a brilliant double to move joint second with Ben Cohen and Will Greenwood on 31.

Underwood, a star of the 1980s and 90s, leads the way on 49 which means May still needs 18 - and he is already into his thirties.

But Jones said: “He’s only going to get better and better and I don’t see why he shouldn’t catch Rory.
