A Place in the Sun presenter Jonnie Irwin has praised the NHS after the attended an MRI and CT scan to monitor his terminal cancer.The 49-year-old was a bit shocked by the unlikely location for his scans as usually patients attend specialist hospitals to have them, but the venue of Jonnie's was a bit unexpected.
On his Instagram page, Jonnie told his followers that he was surprised when he discovered he was being scanned in portable scanners located at a nearby leisure centre car park.
At first he wasn't sure about the move, but then he praised the NHS for its versatility.Speaking to the camera, Jonnie said: "I got some scans today.
Not in a hospital but in a leisure centre car park. MRI and CT unit. In this, surprising." He then captioned the post: "I actually had a great experience.
