Property host Jonnie Irwin has delighted fans with a new update on his mammoth home renovations for his wife Jessica Holmes and their three kids, Rex, four, and two-year-old twins Rafa and Cormac as he continues to battle terminal cancer.Fans were blown away by the recent development in his huge family project despite his health declining drastically over recent months, and they couldn't believe how "gorgeous" and "beautiful" the home was looking as he shared snaps on his social media pages.The former A Place In the Sun host took to Instagram to make his followers aware that "phase one" of his renovation project had been completed - the transformation of his family home in Newcastle, which he wants to leave for his wife and kids.Sharing a photo of the home on his page, he showed off an almost 'photo frame' perfect view out of the huge glass window in the living room.
Jonnie also showcased the gorgeous woodland landscape view out of the home window, and sparkling modern interiors.The 49-year-old captioned the post: "Phase 1 complete.
Previously a cold virtually unused part of the house has been transformed whilst in keeping with the original 60’s character.
The main difference has been to punch through the south facing wall and create an enormous view onto the garden via a bespoke @alunag_aluminiumsupplier window. "This idea rightfully had its doubters but I think the gamble has paid off," he added. "Replacement windows and sliding doors match the design and profiles which is key.
