Several women have come forward with additional accusations against actor Jonathan Majors, who was found guilty in December of assaulting and harassing a girlfriend.
The New York Times is reporting the accounts of former girlfriends, colleagues, and on-set personnel regarding Majors, who has maintained his innocence and said last month in a televised interview that had “never struck a woman.” That is contradicted by several accounts in the Times story.
In pretrial statements to the prosecution and in interviews with The New York Times, a former girlfriend, Emma Duncan, accused Majors of emotionally and physically abusing her, including choking her, throwing her around, and bruising her.
Another, Maura Hooper, also said that he had emotionally abused her. Both Duncan and Hooper are actresses who dated Majors before he became famous.
