Lens right-back Jonathan Clauss could become Erik ten Hag's fourth signing as Manchester United manager after the club reportedly entered advanced talks over a deal.
Reports from Portugal suggest that a move is close for the 29-year-old, with Ten Hag eager to sign a new right-back following the Manchester Evening News' report that United are open to selling Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Clauss has entered the final 12 months of his contract with Lens, explaining the cut-price fee. According to the Evening Standard, Chelsea had also been interested in his services, with Thomas Tuchel identifying him as an ideal full-back for his system.
