Jon Bernthal is excited to be back as Frank Castle. Hot off the heels of Marvel’s announcement that the actor will be returning to reprise his role as The Punisher in the upcoming “Daredevil: Born Again”, Bernthal is celebrating. READ MORE: ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Series Coming To Disney+ In Spring 2024 In a video posted to TikTok promoting his “Real Ones” podcast, Bernthal marked the big news by strutting into his home with the Punisher logo behind him and the theme song blaring.

Bernthal first appeared as The Punisher in the original run of the “Daredevil” series on Netflix. fans were left disappointed over the weekend when the creator and a majority of the cast of the popular Paramount Network series were no-shows at their PaleyFest panel in Los Angeles.Originally, the panel was set to include most of the stars of the series — including Kevin Costner -- as well as creator Taylor Sheridan and executive producer David Glasser. However, only Moses Brings Plenty, Dawn Olivieri, Josh Lucas and Wendy Moniz were in attendance, along with Keith Cox, president of development and production at Paramount Network.The absence of Costner, Sheridan, Glasser, Kelly Reilly, Cole Hauser, Luke Grimes, Kelsey Asbille, Wes Bentley, Gil Birmingham and Jacki Weaver at the event was said to be due to «scheduling conflicts.» The event was first announced in mid-January.Cox did not speak to reporters at PaleyFest but did address Costner's future on the series when he took the stage at the Dolby Theatre.

Ridley Scott, Joaquin Phoenix Epic ‘Napoleon’ Gets Exclusive Theatrical Release Before Apple TV+ Debut

The historical epic from Ridley Scott (no slouch when it comes to directing lavish looks at the past and explorations of the warrior way) will open in cinemas exclusively on Nov. 22 before streaming globally on Apple TV+ on an undetermined date. Sony Pictures will partner with Apple on the theatrical rollout. “Napoleon” stars Joaquin Phoenix as the French emperor and military leader. Phoenix previously teamed with Scott on 2000’s mega-hit “Gladiator,” so there’s a track record there. But this film won’t be all Waterloo, all the time. In addition to epic battles, “Napoleon” will also look at the visionary commander’s volatile relationship with his wife, Josephine, who is played by Vanessa Kirby. Apple also released a first look image (above) from the film featuring Phoenix on horseback, saber unsheathed.
