Joker 2 surprises fans as unexpected character revealed in new teaser trailer
manchestereveningnews.co.ukJoker 2 fans were treated to a first-look of a new character in a fresh teaser trailer. After premiering at the Venice Film Festival - and earning an 11-minute standing ovation - Warner Bros shared a previously-unseen 30-second teaser via social media.
The musical-thriller is a sequel to 2019's Joker, which earned more than $1 billion at the global box office and remains the highest-grossing R-rated film of all time.
Joaquin Phoenix reprises the titular role in the second instalment. Critically-acclaimed singer and actress Lady Gaga joins him as love interest Harley Quinn.
And Industry's Harry Lawtey is the latest addition to the cast, playing supervillain Harvey Dent/Two Face. British actor Harry, who portrays Robert Spearing in the BBC Two and HBO series, is briefly featured in the new teaser.
