‘Joker 2’ New Trailer: Joaquin Phoenix & Lady Gaga Cook Up Chaos As Joker & Harley Quinn

Oscar winner Joaquin Phoenix is back in the title role with Lady Gaga aboard as Harley Quinn. It was confirmed this morning that the movie will debut at the Venice Film Festival, which takes place in early September.
The plot of the sequel, which is expected to be at least in part a musical, is due to take place largely in Arkham Asylum. Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, Jacob Lofland and Harry Lawtey comprise the supporting cast with Zazie Beetz returning as Sophie from the original.
The first film garnered 11 Oscar nominations and stellar box office. It became the highest-grossing R-rated movie in history.
