JoJo is opening up and recalling a time when she bonded with Taylor Swift over label troubles.

Speaking with People about her situation, the 29-year-old singer revealed that Taylor showed support for her a few years ago as she was going through legal battles of her own with her former music label.

If you are unfamiliar, JoJo‘s former label literally owned her voice and she was legally barred from releasing any music at all while under contract with them.
