Former Skid Row singer Johnny Solinger has died aged 55. The band's official Instagram page paid tribute to the star just a month after he told fans that he had been diagnosed with liver failure.
The tribute read: "We are saddened to hear the news of our brother Johnny Solinger. Our thoughts are with his family, friends and fans. "Godspeed Singo.
Say hello to Scrappy for us." It was signed by Rachel Bolan, ZP Theart, Snake Sabo, Rob Hammersmith and Scotti Hill. In an additional tribute on their own Instagram page, Bolan wrote: "RIP Singo.
Get yourself a piece of pie with Scrappy.” Johnny first joined Skid Row in 1999 to replace previous lead vocalist Sebastian Bach, but left in 2015 and was subsequently replaced by Tony Harnell.
