Depp, 57, is suing NGN over a story published in The Sun in 2018 which branded him a "wife beater" - a claim which he strenuously denies.
After Heard stepped down, her sister Whitney Henriquez was called to give evidence. During her testimony, Henriquez was asked about a picture taken in March 2013 which showed lines of a white powder on a table next to a tampon applicator, a credit card, drinks and a woman's handbag.
