Johnny Depp to Play Controversial French King Louis XV in Upcoming Movie

It will “revolve around Louis XV, who was nicknamed ‘the beloved’ and reigned for 59 years, the longest in the history of France after that of Louis XIV.
Paradoxically, Louis XV died as an unpopular king after being accused of corruption and debauchery.” The movie is Johnny Depp‘s first since 2020′s Minamata, and comes amid his ongoing defamation legal battle with ex Amber Heard regarding domestic violence allegations.
A star recently spoke out to address his private text messages with Johnny Depp, which became public as part of the actor’s libel case against The Sun.
