Johnny Depp allegedly said he could "punch Amber Heard in the face" after they married in February 2015.The Pirates of the Caribbean star is in the middle of a court battle against his ex-wife after an op-ed she wrote in the Washington Post about experiencing domestic violence.

While she didn't name the alleged perpetrator, Johnny launched a £40.29m ($50m) libel lawsuit against her, claiming the article damaged his career and prevented him from getting roles.

Io Tillett Wright, who was once a friend of both Johnny and Amber, 36, has since appeared in Virginia's Fairfax County Courthouse on Tuesday 18 May via video link to give evidence.
