Johnny Depp has been granted permission to use testimony from ex wife Amber Heard‘s former assistant in his libel case against The Sun.

The Guardian reports that a High Court justice ruled that the 56-year-old actor’s team will be able to use Kate James‘ testimony in his case.

However, he will not be able to use testimony from David Killackey, a mechanic who worked for the former couple. “I refuse to the claimant [Depp] permission to call Mr Killackey.
