Johnny Depp’s lawyer has said that claims that the jury was ‘tainted’ by social media during the defamation case between him and Amber Heard are ‘baseless’.
A representative for the 59 year old actor has expressed his disappointment at the accusations that the jurors' integrity was compromised.The accusation was made by Elaine Bredehoft in an interview with the US news programme Today, shortly after verdicts were returned in the multi-million dollar defamation case in Virginia.
Benjamin Chew, who was part of Pirates of the Caribbean actor Johnny’s legal team, has said that these accusations were “really disappointing” to hear.
