Johnny Depp took the stand in his libel case against a UK tabloid and was questioned by the brand’s lawyer, Sasha Wass QC.

He’s suing the publication for calling him a “wife beater” in his ongoing proceedings with ex Amber Heard. On the stand, Johnny was asked about giving his daughter Lily-Rose Depp marijuana when she was 13 years old.

She’s now 21. First, he clarified that he “never encouraged my daughter to use marijuana.” “My daughter was 13 years old and, as we all know, at 11, 12, 13 years old, when you go to high school parties you are approached by people who will want to give you drink because they’re drinking,” Johnny said.
