Johnny Depp has denied slapping Amber Heard after she laughed at his ‘Wino Forever’ tattoo.The actor took to the stand for day two of his libel trial against The Sun’s publisher News Group Newspapers, with NGN’s lawyer Sasha Wass QC continuing her cross-examination of the actor.This morning, Ms Wass raised Depp’s ex-wife Amber Heard’s claims that he first hit her in early 2013 – one of 14 separate allegations of domestic violence, all denied by Mr Depp, relied on by NGN in their defence.Depp is accusing NGN of libel in relation to an April 2018 column from The Sun’s executive editor Dan Wootton, which referred to the actor as a ‘wife beater’.Ms Wass asked Mr Depp if he was taking cocaine in March 2013, with the star replying that it was.
