Both Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are turning over new leaves. One year after the exes’ infamous trial, in which the Pirates of the Caribbean star accused his ex-wife of defamation for the abuse allegations she made in a 2018 op-ed, the two are moving on with their lives.
A source close to Heard told People Tuesday that the Aquaman actress “couldn’t wait to leave the US with her daughter” following the conclusion of last year’s trial: The 36-year-old is mom to 2-year-old Oonagh, who she welcomed via surrogate in 2021.
The insider added: Johnny famously won last year’s trial on three counts of defamation, for which Amber was ordered to pay $10.35 million in damages.
