‘John Wick’ Spinoff ‘The Continental’ Producer Shares Update On Season 2 Possibilities

The Continental, a series set in the John Wick universe, will not have a second season on Peacock. The prequel series, which consisted of three episodes and was deemed a limited series, premiered on the streamer in September 2023.

It starred Colin Woodell as a young Winston Scott who plans to take control of The Continental, the hotel featured in the John Wick franchise.

In a new interview, producer Basil Iwanyk seemingly confirmed there would not be another season. “I think we were happy with season one,” Iwanyk told The Direct. “I think that we talked a little bit about season two.

But I think the feeling is, if we’re going to have something on television in the John Wick universe, this Robert Levine version that we went out with, that we’re negotiating with somebody, is probably the better option for the John Wick content in the TV world.” He continued, “So, I loved making [The Continental].
